Magical Monday - Sketch Challenge

For the month of December I (Nina) will be bringing you the challenges. We are going to kick off the month with a sketch. You can flip it, rotate it or stretch it, just as long as you can still see the original sketch below on your card.



You do not need to use one of our digital images to play along, but of course we would love to see a Paper Cupcakes image used. Please note: Everyone that uses a Paper Cupcake's image will be entered into the drawing twice to win.

Since this is not my normal monthly give away and you would like to use a Paper Cupcake image you can find "Starry Snowman" HERE in my store here for just a $1.00 this week only until Sunday evening, December 11th. I am doing this so if you want to use a Paper Cupcake's image that might be fun to work with for this particular challenge, you have one. Or you can always pick your own out at the Paper Cupcake's store which you can find HERE.

Tea Party ~ Sketch Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Thanks for joining us today in our Tea Party~Sketch Blog Hop! Who doesn't like a good cup of tea, good conversation, good friends and lots of lovely creativity?! All of us at Paper Cupcakes do, because it's the perfect blend! So, sit back and enjoy the our tea party.

This tea party hop is showcasing all new tea party releases in the Paper Cupcakes store, plus there will be a few other new images as well in the store not being showcased. So make sure you check them out. Also, the DT is showcasing their personal sketches, so make sure you grab those along the way. Who doesn't love a good sketch to work from?!

I will be doing 2 random drawings of the participants who take part in our hop. They will get to pick 5 images of their choice when the hop closes out. The only requirement is that you leave a message/posting on each of the participating blogs throughout the hop "starting with this one". On the last blog there will be a Mr. linky, just leave your name and any link there for me there to be eligible for the drawings. That will tell me you have left a message on all blogs and that you want to be entered in the random drawings. I will announce the winners on this blog come August 18th. So make sure you check back to see if you won.

MAGICAL MONDAY - SKETCH

Wow, can it really be September already? Yikes! I hope you have enjoyed the first month's worth of free images! Not only I am excited to bring you September's images, I am excited to introduce you to the new Guest Designers for the month of September! They are Helen Croft and Deedee Anderson. Make sure you click on their names and check out their blogs. They both bring a lot of talent to the month of September and I feel very blessed to have them come play along this month.

We are going to start this month off with "Nate & Av". These two feisty fellows are are as different as can be in physical size, but their admiration for each other is quite large. The name of this stamp is "Nate & Av - You're Special". Just in case you are wondering, Nate is the Lion and Av is the mouse! :O) If you also want to learn an interesting little fact about this image you can find it here.

I am in a process of getting a website up and going to make available to you not only these images, but many more originals by me in digital form and in the near future photopolymer as well... it's all in "the works"! This will be a fun image to play with and I can't wait to see what you are going to do with it... Well, I bet you already figured out per the post title and the sketch below what the challenge is....



Yes, that is right... Use the image "Nate & Av - You're Special" and use this sketch provided to us by Nilla . You can stretch it, rotate it, reverse it, etc as long as the original sketch can still be seen. You also do not necessarily have to use flowers or ribbon, be creative! Don't forget to come back and post here on Mr. Linky so we can all share in your creations as well!

Card Sketch

Hi Everyone, while I am busy working on the all the details of getting this up and running... I thought I would drop you off a card sketch. I made this just for you this evening!! I thought, well, since you are just sitting there waiting for the first image release, you might as well make a card! So here it is and I hope you enjoy it....

If you use it at any time, I would love for you to link your card back to me so I can see it and even post it with the sketch, but please give me credit for the sketch regardless.

OK.. I am excited to say that Nilla from Live It - Scrap It just used this sketch for a card and she posted it on her blog!! Nilla just got a "few" new Magnolia stamps so she is busy using them; this is one of them! I have to laugh because a few would be an understatement! (she posted a pic on her blog) Lucky girl I say! I think she did a beautiful job and Thanks Nilla for sharing this with us and allowing me to post it here with my sketch!!
