Magical Monday - Sketch

Hello Everyone and Happy Independence Day to all in the Good 'Ole USA!

I am on vacation! Yippee!! I didn't want you to go without, so I have a lovely sketch for you this week and a card from one of our upcoming Designers Jennifer Scull. She made this card to post on her blog and shared it with me and I loved is so much that I decided to place it here for all to see. I also did a sketch around it so you would have something here to come to.

The rest of the Designers were given the week off, so they will all be back next week with our new Designer as well. Our New Design Team starting back in July will be: Audrey E., Gloria Westerman, Ildiko Cseh, Jennifer Scull, Jenn Cochran (will be back in Sept.), Leslie Krocht, Lucy Marino, Shirley Quarry, Sonia N Rivera and Tammylee Newberry! And our GD for July will be Jeanette Cloyd! I am excited and I hope you are too so make sure you come back next week on Tuesday though!

Because I am on vacation next week's challenge (only) will post on Tuesday, July 12th and everyone will be back including our new designers!

So, let's get this show on the road. Everything is done in Red, White and Blue in celebration of Independence day in the USA. Now you don't have to do anything in those colors, but I think it might be fun to see something in them anyway.

The challenge is to use the sketch below. Everyone gets some free tickets today! Now I realize they are more for people in the US, but some of the tickets can be used in more general ways. So, make sure you grab them, because they will only be there for a short time.

Magical Monday - Blast From The Past

It always saddens me to say good by to my designers and guest designers, but it's that time again and so I want to give a big THANK YOU to the ones that are moving on; Belinda Lewis, Julie Smith, Marie Bridgeman, Patti Painter and Suzi McKenzie and our June Guest Designer Sandy Smith. I always feel very blessed for the time and talents that everyone's shares with not only me, but you as well. You can continue to check out their personal blogs by locating their links on the right side bar!

ALSO, I will be on vacation next week, so I am giving all the designers a break for that week as well. So, we will be taking a week off on Monday, July 4th. I will go ahead and post a sketch and and leave a linky so if you want to post your card with the sketch I would love to see it, but there will not be any examples to look at ( I know disappointing ), but we can all use a break now and then. This also gives me a chance to get the new designers up to date and ready to go. The following week only we will be posting on Tuesday, July 12, instead of Monday July 11th. This will give me a day to get our posting ready once I get back, so I am just moving it over one day, just this week. So, make sure you come back!

This week Ildiko Cseh brings us our challenge. She wants us to do a card/project that reflects the era from the 1920's-1930's. So... this one is a little more of a challenge... so do your best and try not to stress over it too much. It was a tough one for me, but I like my card and in the end that is what matters! :O)

You do not need to use one of our digital images to play along, but of course we would love to see a Paper Cupcakes image used. Please note: Everyone that uses a Paper Cupcake's image will be entered into the drawing twice to win.
