It saddens me to announce that this is Sue Walsh's last week on the DT. Sue will be doing some traveling through the month of June and so as much as we are going to miss her talents and inspirations we certainly hope she has a wonderful time during her travels. So make sure you post her a note of thanks. I know all the Designers have truly blessed me in many ways outside their work.

Nilla Berglie brings us this week's challenge. She wants you to use any "acquired image" from Paper Cupcakes. Magical Monday - CAS (clean & simple) with PCC image

I hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day! Please welcome Jessie Fitz Henry back as she joins our DT! Please forgive me for not being around much to leave some luvins on your projects these last few weeks. I am in the process of a mural outside my home and I am hoping I will finish it up this week, which will free up some of my day hours once complete; hopefully by the end of this week.

Sue Walsh brings us this weeks challenge. She wants us to do a CAS (Clean & Simple) card AND use the "Softly Afloat" image from Paper Cupcakes. The following is what is consider a CAS card.

1. Clean: the design is uncluttered with lots of white or open space. Simple: having a clear focal point without a lot going on to detract from it.

OR
2. simple in design regardless of the number of embellishments or how long it takes to color, stitch or to use a special technique

OR
3. can be copied and mass produced fairly quickly… usually without a lot of coloring, layers, embellishments, tools and/or techniques

OR
4. any combination of the above
