Magical Monday - Distressing

The special person to receive the random drawing prize for participating in last weeks challenge is: Stamping Sam

Please send me your address at magicintheair@att.net so I can get this out to you. CONGRATS and ENJOY!

Great News! I just uploaded 25 NEW images to my store Paper Cupcakes. You can find them here under "New Arrivals". I have some really cute ones that just arrived for Easter, so make sure you check them out.

"Lucky Bear" is no longer available for free... if by chance you missed this freebie, you can now find this image in my store Paper Cupcakes)

This week Nilla Berglie brings us this weeks challenge. She would like to see you use the above image "Lucky Bear" AND any technique for distressing, roughing up your paper with your scissors, distressing with inks, sanding, scraping, pounding (hehe - do this method if your are mad at someone with your meat tenderizer ;o) ~ any technique you would consider a method to distress! Now remember crafters, there is a fine line between distressing and destruction! tee-hee :O) For anyone not familiar with distressing or would like to become a bit more familiar with it, Nilla has opened a new blog just for techniques! How nice is that? So, make sure you check out her new blog for some distressing techniques just for this challenge. You can find her new technique blog for this challenge here.

The prize for this week’s random drawing for whoever participates in this weeks challenge and links their work back here is this Paper Cupcake's image "Just Because":

Magical Monday - Lace & Circle

The special person to receive the random drawing prize for participating in last weeks challenge is: Rhonda

Rhonda, please stop by my store Paper Cupcakes and pick out an image you would like to have. Then send me an e-mail at magicintheair@att.net and tell me the name of the image and I will send that out to you to the e-mail you request. Congrats!

Wow, I have been giving images away for 7 months now! I will have given away approximately 26 images by the end of this month. How great is that?! Although, as much as I love giving them away I certainly would love to be selling some too! So make sure you stop by my store Paper Cupcakes and see what's new or even what's old and help spread the word! So, this week along with Selma's challenge listed below you can use "ANY" one of my Paper Cupcake images you have acquired over the last 7 months or you can use this freebie "Kacey" (Curt's Favorite "o) - which was my one of my very first freebies). So, if you are new to our challenge blog use Kacey or snag her if you don't have her, OR you can purchase a new one from my store Paper Cupcakes. Regardless of what image you choose to use, it must be one of my Paper Cupcakes images. (*)

"Kacey" is no longer available for free... if by chance you missed this freebie, you can now find this image in my store Paper Cupcakes)

Selma Stevenson brings us this week's challenge. She wants you to use any Paper Cupcake's image you have acquired and also wants to see you use lace (either paper punched or real) and a circle (the main image and/or greeting stamped in a circle).
